What's it mean to be registered.
---
We're so glad you asked. Registration simply means that you have registered with a username and password on this website. You can not post anything on the website until you are registered.
Why would I want to register?
So that you can participate in the discussion forums, add pictures to the photo gallery, talk about rides, trade shows, pretty much anything.
How do I register?
On the left hand side of the screen there should be a place to enter a username and password. If you don't have a username and password, notice the text below the password box says "Register now!" Just click that and follow the directions on the screen. Once you have entered the information into the online form and submitted it, you need to go check your email inbox. In unusual circumstances, it may take up to 30 minutes before you receive the confirmation email, but this is very unusual, and beyond our control. Our systems sends out your confirmation email instantly. Now you will receive an email that contains a link to validate your email address. Until you open your email inbox and click that link, you are not completely registered. That's how we keep out the riff-raff.
I registered but still cant post anything.
Usually this is because you did not click the link in your confirmation email. Go back to the question before this one and read it again, please.
Will I get more spam if I register?
Mad Cycles Motor Company never sells, transfers, or in any way divulges your information to anyone ever. There are, however, certain notification options in each section of this site that will allow you to be notified if something new is posted. Each notification option must be turned on by YOU by selecting the appropriate notification option. For example, if you wanted to receive an email when new events are posted to the Southeast Texas Events Discussion Forum, then you could select that notification option at the bottom of the screen when inside that forum. Also, as a participant in our online community, Mad Cycles Motor Company may from time to time send an email to registered users about a something important you should know about as a concerned rider.
That's it, this is your FAQ?

Also, you can reach the website owner (Sean Sonnier) by sending a Private Message to Speed. We answer the phone too! 409-813-1910. All of us at Mad Cycles really hope you enjoy this site. |
